Withdrawal policy

Version 2026-09-25-legal. Applies to consumers (§ 13 BGB) who purchase a paid dataset tier as a one-time download via Mandavo Synthetic Datasets. There is no subscription. A free sample tier is available after registration; you may delete your account at any time without purchasing.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded (i.e. when you complete payment for a paid tier).

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Silas Nutz, trading as Mandavo Softwareentwicklung, Daimlerstraße 50, 74211 Leingarten, Germany, e-mail: hello@mandavotech.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an e-mail). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. You can also declare your withdrawal via our online withdrawal function (§ 356a BGB); if you use this option, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt without delay (e.g. by e-mail).

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

If you requested that delivery of the digital content begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated to us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full scope of the contract.

Early expiry of the right of withdrawal — digital content

The datasets are digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium (downloadable ZIP archives). The right of withdrawal expires if we have begun performance after you have

  1. expressly consented to us beginning performance before the expiry of the withdrawal period, and
  2. confirmed your knowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once delivery of the digital content has begun

(§ 356 (6) BGB). At checkout on the Pricing page you must tick a consent box to this effect before you are redirected to Stripe. After payment, the release ZIP is available for immediate download from your account. Once you download the dataset, the right of withdrawal for that purchase generally expires.

We confirm the contract on a durable medium (e-mail with purchase details) in accordance with § 312f BGB.
